The parking is a bit difficult as the hotel was sold out and it does not appear to have equal spots to rooms. That beings said, the lot is great, the location is perfect, the hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. We used to stay at the Black Bear Inn- now we will not stay anywhere but Hotel ursa. This place is a gem. If you book for Homecoming, you best book early; it sold out fast.

Black Bear Greets You With Expressive Eyes

I can't comment on breakfast as they don't offer it but they do have a cafe where you can purchase things. The only thing I'd like to change is the bedside lighting. I read before I go to bed and the lamps are diffused so it's not quite bright enough for my older eyes! Everything is new and well maintained -- the rooms are lovely. And check out the great black bear painting as you enter the main lobby building. He has a great personality!

During our family's New England road trip, this was by far our favorite hotel. The room was super clean and had a modern feel (the photos posted are a true resemblance of reality). It was a comfortable stay. Would've been nice to have access to hot water for tea at the lobby; but the girls at the front desk were more than willing to help out and grab some from the cafe if need be. The price was more than reasonable. And I would definitely stay here again.
