The staff were very very friendly and professional and helpful in helping me know the area. The rooms were pretty good. We had 2 rooms and one was clean and updated and one was more dated and less great. The shower handle came off in our hands. Otherwise, it was good.

This property was dated but clean and fairly well maintained. ID must be logged for every adult who stays after a certain hour--not a rule we have encountered before. The linens were fluffy and abundant; and the bed was quite comfortable. The heater/ac worked well. The atmosphere was quiet enough to provide good sleep. The grounds are unattractive; the continental breakfast was uninspiring. Our room door was cracked and not squarely seated, but seemed to be secure. We would stay here again.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was cereal, toast, yogurt, waffles, juice, coffee, mini muffins. Water in shower was warming not hot. Beds and pillows were comfy. 40 minutes to Acadia. I would stay again.

The stay was OK but I would not stay there again. The free breakfast was the same options everyday. The facility had been rehabbed but it was a little shaky in terms of appearance. It was clean and cheap.

Room was clean and comfortable, BUT the tv was horrible there were very few choices/channels. After running all day and checking out the sites we like to kick back and enjoy a little tv before turning in for the night.Again there were very few program choices to choose from (we do not want to look at the walls for three hours). Also for the price of the room the breakfast was very limited and unsatisfactory, (not everyone likes waffles, bagels & yogurt for the main course. Laundry room was clean and a decent price.

The only positive thing to say is that the staff folks were nice. When we got there, the room was 80F. I made sure heat was turned off on the digital thermostat, but when we got back to the room a few hours later, it was still 80F. The desk said that the power had to be turned off to the heater, but that couldn't be done until the next day. So, the VERY loud AC had to be turned on full blast to get the room down to 75F. The next two nights, the room was still very warm and the window had to be kept open to make it bearable. The first two mornings, there was no hot water, so showering was not possible. The breakfast was waffles and essentially nothing else. We have family in the area, but do not plan to stay here ever again.

The facility is older, which is not a problem of itself. But there were issues with maintenence. The hot water went out leaving us with cold showers. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they offered a 15 percent discount. The shower also had mildew issues. Otherwise, nice room and friendly staff in breakfast room. Breakfast was good but waffle maker was broken. Not planning to return.
