This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and if possible, I would give it zero stars.
Accessibility Issues
We specifically booked a handicap-accessible room, but after payment we were informed that no accessible rooms were available. Instead, we were placed in a second-floor room with no assistance. My husband recently had back surgery, which meant I had to carry all of our luggage up two flights of stairs on my own. This was extremely difficult and unacceptable given what we had requested.
Room Condition and Maintenance
The room itself had numerous problems:
The door dragged on the floor and caught every time it was opened or closed.
The toilet was clogged for two days.
We were told a maintenance worker would arrive within 30 minutes, but after waiting for hours and repeatedly calling the front desk with no answer, we went to bed at midnight. Maintenance did not arrive until the next morning.
The shower was very difficult to operate, and my husband had to fix the shower door himself just so it would open.
There were cigarette burns in the bathtub, despite this being a non-smoking room.
Amenities and Cleanliness
Basic amenities were either missing or unusable:
The coffee provided did not match the coffee maker, and there were no refills.
There was no silverware, cups, or cloths provided for basic cleaning.
The televisions barely worked, with muffled sound and poor quality.
The carpet was old, the beds were sagging, and everything felt worn out.
