Really cool old building retrofitted into a modern urban vibe hotel. Clean rooms, great views and friendly staff. The lobby bar after hours offers intimate seating and club music vibrating...the atmosphere is really fun. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel, Rucola is great, especially for brunch. Close by is Piccola Cucina Casa which is another excellent Italian gem. Beds very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The only issue we had is we visited during the polar vortex, and the bathroom was pretty chilly. Otherwise, this is a perfect, affordable slice of cool in Brooklyn.

Amazing hotel, top to bottom. Check-in and check-out were both great, rooms amazing, and the location is excellent. Aside from two negative experiences with a rude front desk guy, and an *insanely* rude/snobby bartender, all of the staff were wonderful. I would absolutely return and recommend this hotel to others. 4.5/5 we hope to be back!

Great vibe and lots happening on site. However it’s over the subway so there are vibrations that can be felt - but you get used to it. Black Seed Bagels next door for breakfast is handy. As breakfast isn’t included. Also Mile End Diner nearby was great. But opens at 9am
