Pros: spacious, nice lounge/book exchange area, clean enough, free coffee, easy to meet people, as in any hostel. Cons: staff not v friendly, odd bed layout, not enough plugs near bed (even to work the light!), shower water takes ages to get warm, some really ugly ugly murals, and a bit of a ways from the subway. Overall: not awful but I can't recommend it, either.

My first time staying in a hostel & I'd definitely stay there again & definitely recommend it for the price & it's clean, staff was awesome & helped me out! You can't beat it & you can stay there up to 15 day's.

This is a hostel, so don't expect the usual amenities for an AirBnB. Having said that, this was a very enjoyable place to stay with friendly people and a very welcoming common area. The room we stayed had a private bath (not all do), and it was clean and comfortable. You won't find tables and chairs in your room like you would with a hotel or other options, but for what we needed, it was perfect.

Great location! Two L train subway stops around the corner. 24/7 market at end of street; walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Good WiFi and A/C. Staff super helpful! I’ll be back.

The art work was very nice. Very clean,Convinient.

The trouble was getting to the hostel from the airport. Everything about the hostel itself is great. My room was upgraded for free and the lounge areas are clean. Free tea and coffee. There is a filtered water fountain that was fresh (ive been to many histels where they were rusted over) there is a kitchen downstairs. I obly stayed one night but found it very comfortable

_Really quick checkin, creative decoration inside, decent price and just take about 40min from Brooklyn to Downtown NY including walking and metro. The closest place with the most reasonable price. -Street parking and it is complicated to make sure you won’t get a tow or ticket. And also really confusing when the steet signs not matches with what the hostel suggested. -Fire alarm waked everybody up at 1am, no explanation or sorry, just went back to sleep when it off and everyone dismissed -Ventilation in bathroom very weak and stinky towels. To summarize, we got what we paid because we want to stay closed to NY for using metro.
