The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! Since our reservations said "Caesars", we went to Caesars. When trying to check in, we were informed that our reservation was actually at Harrah's. The bellman (Larry) brought us and our luggage through the Caesars casino, across the street to check in at Harrah's, all the while directing us to the various areas of the casino. While it took a minute, and everyone was so courteous, displaying our reservation for the correct hotel would have been nice to know ahead of time. The room and bathroom (giant tub and large walk-in shower!) were spacious. The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. While it looked clean, the floors were super shiny! There was quite a bit of dust on the mirror and artwork frames, some mold in the shower between the glass and the tile, and the shower head had so much calcium (?) build up on it that you almost had to run around the shower to get wet/rinse off (it was spraying in all different directions). Also, the water went from scaling hot to ice cold a number of times during my 1st shower. (My second shower was much quicker, and it only happened once.) I warned the other guests with me, so they also took speedy showers. Our "Do Not Disturb" and "Housekeeping" lights were completely broken - not attached to the wall at all - and were blinking/on the entire visit.

I did not realize that there were 2 hotels and my mom and I walked blocks to the wrong building only to be rerouted to the Harrah's hotel. The lay out was not easy to navigate with luggage. When I booked, I was led to believe breakfast was included but it wasn't. The staff wasn't necessarily rude but not friendly either. I won't book a Caesar's hotel in any city after this experience.

We decided to visit New Orleans for my husband's birthday. I wanted him to have the a great birthday so I paid for early check in. When we got there the young lady that check us in was very kind and helpful. The rooms were not ready so they told us that they would call us when the room was ready.about 4hrs later I called the hotel to see if the room was ready and the person I spoke to over the phone was extremely rude and she said that I had the operator and I need to just speak to the front desk and transferred me and I was on hold for about 10 minutes. We decided to just go to the hotel and check to see if the room was ready. When we got there the girl that helped us was extremely rude nasty barely talk to us wouldn't even tell me the room number. The girl explain to me the rooms are still not ready and that she was going to put us in a different room. We ended up going from the 18th floor to the 10th floor., when I walked into our suite we could not see the river other than a very tiny view betweenthe 2 that stood in the way . At this point I was already irritated because the girl was very rude to us and downgraded us after paying for an upgrade. I went to the concierge status and ask the manager. The manager was very kind very helpful he took very good care of us. But it was still an inconvenience that I had to go down wait for manager just to get the room that I'd already paid for. He did put us up on the 17th floor where we were able to see the riverfront much better.
