Beautiful hotel right at the center of Bourbon street. Very clean. Old but fancy. Staff was great. Reason I did not give five: trickling lukewarm-cold water in the shower, three days in a row. I called them about it the second day- nothing happened. Housekeeping knocked on the door first morning at 8:30; I told her to come back after 10: we left and came back in the evening, and the room was not made up. I called reception the next day regarding this, and they sent them to clean the room. Second day we were there, to our surprise, we saw our car parked in front of the hotel- we had valet parking, and we asked the valet person why our car was parked in front of the hotel, and he claimed that we asked for it. But we did not! I got a bit concerned.

The room was beautiful. The staff was so welcoming and the bell hop that we had when we departed was the best!!! Also Roy with the customer relations was amazing and went above and beyond. I felt safe and comfortable. Loved the stay and will be back!

The staff was amazing! So nice, friendly and helpful. The room was just eh for a hotel recently renovated already some wear and tear. The walls looked like they needed to be repainted, the baseboards needed to be cleaned they were covered in dust and the grout in the bathroom seemed dirty. The light above the shower was out and they were unable to replace the bulb while we were there- they offered us another room but we didn’t want to repack and move. Breakfast was excellent the lobby and courtyard were gorgeous and the location is perfect- you are in the middle of everything.

I will always stay here when visiting New Orleans. Being in the middle of everything during Mardi Gras season makes the trip that much more amazing. Everything is within walking distance or easy to access by street car. The staff is attentive and helpful, the bar service was exceptional, quickly mixing craft cocktails. The bands hosted were as good as any we heard around town, except for Fritzels, which is directly across the street. If you're visiting NOLA, stay at the Bourbon Orleans.

The noise level of the staff at 5 am. Even after we pointed it out it continued. I think I know all their names as they were yelling at each other in the hallway these were not guests. Banging metal hotel cards loaded with glasses. Surly demeanor of the staff with the exception of the breakfast area and concierge.

Room was great! Cozy and clean. Shower didn’t work initially but they fixed it very fast. Staff was super friendly :) we had a great time
