The accomodations were unique, well located, spacious and a perfect fit for our trip. We really liked the location and the neighborhood.. Definitely on our list of places to stay if it is available on our next trip to NOLA.

Grumpy old tour 2025

Very nice property with handicap parking right outside the front door. The five rooms are made up of two units connected by a screened-in porch. Very convenient for privacy but the big unit you walk through each bedroom to get to the kitchen in the bathroom. A little inconvenient but not a big issue. Extremely clean very nicely decorated beds are extremely comfortable.

Uptown Stay on the Edge of the Garden District

My siblings and spouses booked a stay in New Orleans as it was the halfway point between Destin, Florida and Beaumont, Texas. Trying to find a hotel or rental property that had 3 King beds and located in a nice NO district was challenging, until we found this beautifully restored “shotgun” house on Tchoupitoulas Street! Located a few blocks from the trolley stop on St Charles, and walking distance from Rouses Grocery Store, it was exactly what we needed. Nearby Pascal Manale’s for fine dining and minutes from Beignets on Canal Street while located in a nice, safe neighborhood was wonderful. Our Host, Genesis, is very responsive and I highly recommend this property, which is like stepping back into the 1930’s

Up and coming neighborhood, not for anyone with mobility handicap.

The house is vintage and has nicely been restored however if you have any mobility issues this house will be problematic. Very steep steps into house , outside entrance to third bedroom and stairs. Bathroom in main house is not handicap assessable, toilet very, very low to ground. Had problems with seat breaking and problems with previous damage to exterior door being obviously broken into. Management was notified and did nothing to repair. After contacting Management a worker showed up and began cutting tree limbs and hedges with electric equipment making it hazardous for us to leave the house. Not a good experience for us.

We have stayed here twice and we are very happy We stayed for my daughter engagement and now her graduation It accommodates family wonderfully and of course next to Hanson snowballs is huge benefit My only unsolicited suggestion is add doors to first bedroom for privacy and sound control

Great House in New Orleans

Myself and three friends loved our stay at this house. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and there was enough space for us all to spread out and relax when we were at the house. We enjoyed several places nearby. We would stay here again when visiting the city.

New Orleans wedding weekend

Stayed here with 6 adults and a toddler, had a wonderful weekend! Fantastic location. Had a toilet issue and host was quick to send someone out! Would definitely recommend

Lots of beds/bedrooms in a great uptown location

This property was perfect for accommodating our large family. We comfortably slept 10 people and had plenty of space. Keep in mind that this is a true shotgun, so you pass through each others’ rooms to get to the rest of the house. However, this is part of the New Orleans charm of this home!

The little big blue house

This house is so cute and cozy! From the very first walk you will love it's charm. As you enter the house every room is clean and simple but cute and stylish. The beds are firm but oh so comfortable. I don't think I've had a better night sleep ever! All the rooms are spacious and inviting with each having a cute quirky picture or symbol of the owner style. Beautiful wooden floors and beautiful decorated bathrooms were all appreciated. I slept in the tall house as I call it and it was perfect! The only thing I would recommend or would have liked to see is as you walk in the front room for there to be more seating chairs that people could comfortably sit on. The cute little stools were nice but too decorative and dainty to want to sit on for guest. We had to bring the chairs from the kitchen for our family of 5 to sit and I thought a big would have been more practical. Also I didn't see any rugs in the bathroom. I had to use a towel so I wouldn't slip coming out of the shower so maybe a rug or two for both bathrooms. More useful appliances like a blender and maybe a hand mixer. We wanted to make margaritas and sit outside by the side house but there was nothing to blend up the frozen concoction. We also needed a broom or vacuum. For our stay we couldn't sweep the floors if we accidentally dropped anything making it uncomfortable to walk in the floors at times.overall great house will come again!

Great traditional New Orleans house to get the real experience

House was very clean. All beds were very comfy. Easy check in process. Don’t forget to go get in line for the famous snow cones on the corner. Lots of room & beds. Pleasantly surprised & will stay again if we visit the area.
