Our host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions. We enjoyed the pathways and scenery of staying at Silverado. The Christmas decorations were awesome and the weather was beautiful two days for us. The condominium was very comfortable and clean.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
The owner contacted us prior to our arrival to let us know the bathroom door was broken and that a repair technician was scheduled to arrive at 4:30 p.m. to fix it. We arrived shortly after 4:00 p.m., waited until approximately 4:50 p.m., and then stepped out for a brief walk. While we were away, the owner informed us that the technician had been there but needed to order a replacement part, so the repair could not be completed. When we returned to the property, the bathroom door was still broken, and there was urine on the bathroom floor in front of the toilet. I don't know whether it had been left by a previous guest or occurred during the repair visit, but regardless, the bathroom had clearly not been left in a clean condition. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying in the property.I contacted the owner to explain that we were leaving due to the unresolved repair and the condition of the bathroom, and I requested a refund since we had only been at the property for approximately two hours. Unfortunately, after that initial communication, I received no further responses despite my attempts to reach the owner.I ultimately contacted VRBO and have spent several days trying to resolve the matter. As of today, it is still unresolved. The lack of cleanliness, the unresolved maintenance issue, and the absence of communication made this a very disappointing experience. I've rented from VRBO many times with no issues, until now.
