It was a fine hotel and convenient for Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, the building and room often smelled strongly of sewage or similar gasses. I would add one star if it weren't for that. Also, I thought breakfast was in the hotel, but going next

The location is absolutely stunning. 2 minutes to central train station, where you can find everything. 15 minutes walking to first Karlplatz and then Marienplatz, the most charming site in Munich. One stop by U4/U5 to Oktoberfest. The hotel is very safe and very clean. The staffs are very helpful. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel b/c train Station has more choices. Very pleasant to stay there. Strongly recommend.

The hotel was just what we needed. Clean and really nice staff. Comfortable temperature and comfy beds. We didn’t have hot water one night and you need to keep windows closed as it’s in a busy street near a hospital so the ambulance sound is regular. But it’s fairly quiet with the windows closed - easy to sleep

That part of the city is where I always stay when come to Munich. It is so convenient, close to everything, especially when you take tours around the city, or day trips, they are around that location.

Hotel is in a great location just minutes from the heart of the city. The staff members were outstanding. However, beware of after-hours check in. They will email you a picture of a lockbox and a code, which is great - if you have wifi or cell service! Otherwise, you may have to find someplace with free wifi to be able to get your check in information. We were coming back to Munich and were on a bus with no wifi and I don't have cell service in Europe. Couldn't figure out what to do to check in (at 7 p.m.) - an off-duty employee just happened to walk by and helped us out, otherwise, we would probably be sleeping on the street. The rooms themselves are very nice, but you do hear the trams rolling by, so if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. The staff was wonderful and helpful - I appreciated all the help and advice for touring the area they offered. It's also very close to the train station and in a safe area.

This is a good hotel, and I would recommend it. The rooms are nice and it's in a good location just a block from the train station. The only drawback is that it's a small hotel which doesn't have food preparation facilities, so breakfast has to be at the cafe next door. The breakfast is OK, but not great. For example, the orange juice is served warm, not cold. I actually discussed it with the manager of the hotel. He was sympathetic, but said that there's not much they can do about it because they don't run the cafe. So I would recommend this hotel l, but if you're looking for an incredible breakfast you probably should go elsewhere.

This hotel was perfectly located close to the train and Old Town. The staff gave us excellent recommendations for local spots and happily helped when we needed extra hangers and an adapter. The room was beautiful, bed very comfortable, and shower excellent. Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to friends.
