Parking is absolutely horrible. You are not permitted to park before check in. The only option is to either park illegally, or have someone with you to check in and get the room card which is used for the parking as well. Leaving the garage is even worse as you have to go through a very tight passage, then up a tight turning ramp. Once at the top you have to leave your car, open the garage door, then move your car out, park it again, get out and close the garage. This alone ruined the stay for me, but on top of this the thermostat in the room kept turning off. It would hit for example 23c once, shut off, and never maintain that temperature which causes waking up in the night cold.

I stayed at Buddy Hotel Munich for five nights and overall had a decent experience. Check‑in was efficient, and the receptionist provided all the information I needed, though his manner felt quite cold and not very welcoming. The room itself was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay — a good bed, a coffee machine, and an excellent shower. For the first four nights it was very peaceful, and I genuinely thought the rooms were soundproof. Unfortunately, on my last night I had a very noisy neighbour, and I could hear them snoring through the wall, which affected the final impression a bit. The area immediately outside the hotel felt a little dodgy at times, so it’s worth being aware of your surroundings, especially in the evenings. That said, the location is extremely convenient: plenty of supermarkets, shops, and places to eat nearby, and very close to stations for airport transfers and day trips around Munich. Overall, it was a comfortable and practical base for exploring the city, with just a couple of things that could be improved.

Perfect location, about 10 minute walk to the train station. Room is tiny but suitable for solo travelers. Simple amenities. Only turnoff was the guy at the desk, his name is German. His customer skills could use some help!!! By the way, New Year’s Eve, no hot water???

The location of the hotel is good very central, but the room was very small we stayed for only one night so it was okay, but I would not stay there again and the parking garage is very narrow and I would not recommend parking there with a regular or large size vehicle.

Not our first stay at the Buddy, so we knew we were in a good place. The rooms are a bit small, but we didn’t go to Munich to stay in the room. The location is perfect, the staff is awesome and it was everything we expected.

Good for a stay to be up early on the train to the airport. Caters to a younger crowd. Safe, clean and enough space. Bed was hard and only one pillow. Quiet. Not horribly far from Christmas markets but I would not stay here for that. Main train station isn't far.
