Pre and Post wedding stay

We found this gem of a house to stay at the night before my daughters wedding at White and Sable. It beat renting several hotel rooms. We had the bride and bridesmaids stay with me the night before the wedding and I stayed with my son and fiancé the night of the wedding. It was an 8 min drive to/from the venue. Wished we could have enjoyed more of the amenities on the property.

Fun Stay

We had a girls' retreat weekend and it was perfect! Nice to have three bedrooms and all the games were fun! Missed having a stove, but the hot tub was relaxing! Heard the dogs upstairs a few times, but nothing major. Would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic girls getaway!

We are a group of six college friends who have been getting together for years, and this VRBO was absolutely perfect for our latest reunion. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and reconnect. We loved the complete game room, the large private outdoor space, and the hot tub — it truly felt like our own private retreat! The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. We could not have asked for a better setting for our girls’ getaway and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect spot to relax, have fun, and make memories. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Stay

Awesome spot to relax with fun extras! Hot tub overlooking the lake was the highlight of our trip. Pool table also made for some fun evening gaming. Very comfortable, great host!

In Between Homes

We were in need of an extended (8 days) stay as we were between the sale(old home) and purchase (new home) of houses. Matt and Miranda were so engaging and hospitable. Communication was fantastic. We had all the amenities to cook and conduct life as normal as possible.

Great place to stay, the owners do live above where you stay, but that doesn't present a problem. Clean place, easy to get to with plenty of room for many guests, hot tub is a bonus!!

Stay was great. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room. Very clean and well appointed. Expected a lake view and a chance to dangle feet in the water. Most of our stay was at night so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful Really no complaints I stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and they were so accommodating for everyone the owner is super nice and there backyard is perfect for pictures and the hot tub was a huge plus! Only complaint was there was no microwave haha but they do have a toster over that worked fine :) Just keep in mind also the owners do live upstairs but were quiet and kept to there self

A peaceful retreat!

Miranda was amazing! Quick and easy communication, simple check in. We were in town for a hockey tournament and we loved the quiet and peaceful location to wind down and relax in. Close enough to town for convenience, but far enough to enjoy the songs of nature. Would definitely stay again!!!

Basement Rental

This is a basement of a house. The renters live upstairs while you are staying in their basement. They also have dogs so if you bring a dog your dog is an extra fee and needs to be placed in a kennel if you leave their house without the dog. Non of this is stated on the rental agreement other then it is pet friendly. You can hear the home owners and dogs walking around occasionally upstairs. They do have a hot tub you can use, but no stove, dishwasher, washer or dryer available in the basement. Bottom line is this is a nice house but if you are looking for a private stay this is not a good fit. If you do not mind some minor noise above you at night or home owners doing yard work while you stay in their basement then this would be a good place for you. They owners are nice people, but not as private of a place as I was hoping for!

Christmas in Ham Lake

This was a great space for my family, both indoor and outdoor. We especially loved the pool table, ping pong table, and the hot tub. There are plenty of kitchen gadgets for cooking, even though it is a kitchenette. My only complaint would be the mattresses seeming very squishy and creaky. Overall, a fantastic place to stay though. We have other family in the area, so come to the area fairly often. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!
