Concerning front desk experience

My wife and I recently stayed at your hotel for the first time. While our room was clean and comfortable, and we had an overall pleasant stay, we feel it’s important to share a concern about our check-in experience. During the check-in process, we felt racially profiled by the receptionist at the front desk. This made both of us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We had been looking forward to our visit, so this was deeply disappointing. We hope you take this feedback seriously, as first impressions matter greatly. Aside from that experience, everything else met our expectations, and we appreciate the quality of the accommodations.

The staff is wonderful everyone was very kind and helpful. They made the stay enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean I appreciate the eco friendly touches. The restaurant has surprisingly good food. Although the over night valet price is exorbitant, there are many affordable self parking options right across so do not let parking be a deterrent if you have a car this is still a great hotel. The bed and pillow could be improved for comfort although very trendy for aesthetics. Could also benefit from offering earplugs as the street can be quite noisy if there is someone honking. I was on the top floor and could still hear it I imagine lower floors would be worse. Overall it was a lovely stay and would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay here, the staff were great and the room was clean as well as a comfy bed! The location is a safe area and I felt more comfortable knowing there was staff meeting people in when it was late at night! Would definitely recommend!

The stay was going well but in the morning the elevators weren’t working and the staff kept insisting only one elevator was out of order but the lights weren’t even coming on for the up/down buttons and when we pushed them and it made banging noises. So we walked down the stairs to the 1st floor only to find we were trapped there because only the staff used the stairs on that level. Had to call the first desk to have someone open the door. While on the phone with the female staff member she kept telling me the elevator was working again but super frustrated since I was locked in a stairwell no where near the elevator so she was just wasting my time and irritating me.
