Comfy bed. Very nice hotel. Hotel staff very accommodating.

short stay- did not get a chance to enjoy. very attentive staff.

Although on the expensive side, the room was fantastic, and proximity to the conference center was a plus.

Excellent hotel. Love the location. We were there on Spring break and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will plan next visit to stay with them again.

Awesome hotel and great staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Not worth the price. ZERO amenities! They don't even have pay per view like they say they do or even HBO. And $12 for cold oatmeal? No thanks. I will never return. What a huge let down.

I chose the hotel for the location which was good for my needs. The room service, valet and housekeeping staff were pleasant and excellent. The front desk staff were for the most part not welcoming. I don't know if it was because I didn't book through the hotel, or if there was some other reason. The restaurant is closed and there is limited unstaffed area for dining so room service with a limited menu was the only option. I would not recommend the hotel based on these experiences.

The staff was very friendly, the bed was very Comfortable.

Very nice hotel in good location. Room was modern and stylish. Saw a couple of earlier reviews talking about staff bothering them in the morning. THEY WON'T DO IT IF YOU PUT THE PRIVACY SIGH ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR DOOR ! The staff was uniformly nice. Only rap on the room was that the water pressure for the shower head was low.

We got a room at the Ivy for a ceremony at the Convention Center. It was a short walk there, which is great during the summer months in MSP.

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for many downtown restaurants and other things to do.

Booked the hotel for a surprise evening, the staff were exceptionally helpful and obliging. Everything was spotlessly clean.

We stayed for one night for our anniversary and the room was awesome. Only problem was our toilet was clogged when we arrived and they had to come up twice to fix it. Cleaning staff also walked into the room 3 times the next morning trying to clean the room, all before 10am. Fun night, just a couple strange problems.

Reall enjoyed our stay would definitely come back again..

My husband and I decided to make a special weekend out of the U2 concert we had tickets for on a Saturday night by booking a room at a presumably classy hotel. Unfortunately, we returned to Hotel Ivy after the show ready to rest in the room we had checked into that afternoon only to discover a group of six young people had checked into it in our absence WITH OUR suitcase and toiletries IN IT! One would have expected the staff on duty to handle the situation with courtesy and apologies, but we were treated TERRIBLY and accused of not having checked in (despite our belongings being in the room, and our car being valeted)! I had to beg to retrieve my things, and was told to "shut my mouth" and "be quiet" by the front desk clerk when I complained because I would disturb the hotel guests! It was the WORST experience my husband and I have ever had at a hotel. Now, three days after the incident, we have received no call re. compensation despite being assured we would. TERRIBLE!

This was hands down one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in, and I have stayed in some of the best. The room was very nice, great bed, good size bathtub, and nice seperate shower. The only thing missing was a stero/radio/singing parrot?? something to listen to other than the television. The location is great, near all things downtown Minneapolis. Would reccommend the parking ramp across the street to save half the cost of valet. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

This is a beautiful hotel in a terrific central location. On checkout, however, they tried to bill me again [...]. Also, when I checked in they asked for a credit card for "incidental" charges -- fair enough, but they sought to put a hold my credit card for over $500, which amounted to more than my pre-paid room charge. I was told the hold should have been $200, which I still think is excessive on a pre-paid stay.

For the most part it was enjoyable. We had no AC in the room and it was extremely hot. They provided two huge fans to keep us cool but it sounded like a jet in the room the whole night. Tried to get some type of a refund, but they just apologized.

This hotel is in a great location if you are attending a conference at the convention center. It is connected to the skyway and very close to Nicollet Mall. The spa is very nice too!

The Hotel Ivy is 6 months new and it shows everywhere. Everything is new and it's obvious that attention to every detail was a high value in the planning. The bathroom was quite large and had a separate shower and sunken tub. Spa personal products in bigger-than-sample size were available to use and we were instructed to take home what we'd opened. The layout of the room and the enormous armoir created a feeling of a separate bedroom, which included an elegant upholstered chaise. Big bed, big flat screen TV, tall ceilings, creative lighting--we loved everything. We wanted a Downtown location and it was easy access to lots of things. The curbside-to-desk-to-room attendant service was courteous and personal and helpful. Lots of great restaurants close, including one right there in the hotel.
