The room was clean and comfortable, however, the room location wasn't great. It was right by a main door into the building, and it was so noisy. The door banged very loudly each time someone went in and out which was a lot. It was very hard to sleep. They did say we could change rooms but by then we had everything unpacked and had gone to bed, so we toughed it out. There was also a strange strong smell when you walked in the building, like they were trying to mask some odor. It traveled down the hallway, too.

I would encourage management to go into that particular room and try and have the door open to the bedroom while opening the bathroom door. Also, the bathroom floor was filthy and the door wouldn’t close all the way.

We had a clean room, with all the soaps and lotions stocked. We used the kitchen and it was stocked with essentials. My son has allergies to dairy, eggs, soy, some nuts. We were able to have oatmeal and sausage at breakfast which was nice. The oatmeal did give him some redness. I’m not sure if there was a cross contamination in the toppings or an ingredient in the oatmeal. We will be more cautious next time.

The staff is really really incredible at this location! The rooms are always clean. It’s a nice good hotel with an excellent location off of the loop easy access to north or south Midland.
