Lago Superior - Magníficas vistas desde la casa frente al mar en Marquette

Los niveles del lago son altos y actualmente no hay playa. Casa de planta abierta a pocos metros del lago Superior. Patio de nivel superior con escaleras al agua. Los dos dormitorios están al final del pasillo y uno frente al otro. Ambas habitaciones tienen grandes armarios. La habitación queen tiene vista al lago con puerta corrediza de vidrio al patio superior. El patio es enorme y tiene una mesa y sillas. El otro dormitorio tiene un sofá cama doble y una cama doble. La sala y el comedor son una gran área. Hay 2 sofás y un sofá de dos plazas. Solo para 5 personas. La cocina cuenta con estufa eléctrica, nevera, tostadora, microondas, cafetera, vajilla, etc. y lavavajillas a estrenar. Nueva parrilla disponible en la cubierta en el verano. Hay una TV / DVD y películas. Cable básico (en verano). NO HAY WiFi, pero a veces puede captar mi señal. También hay muchos restaurantes y cafeterías increíbles con wifi gratuito. Cuarto de lavado en el sótano que comparte el otro baño. No hay bañera en la casa, ¡a menos que cuente el Lago Superior! Dos duchas en total. El sótano se utiliza para nuestro almacenamiento. NO tenemos kayaks. Puedo recomendar un alquiler local.

No se permiten mascotas en la propiedad. Esto incluye a las personas que lo visitan. No hay conexiones de RV: sí, esto ha sucedido. No hay fiestas NO FUMAR en ningún lugar de las instalaciones.

Hablando de cosas que hacer, hay un impresionante sistema de senderos para correr / esquiar / andar en bicicleta en Marquette conocido como Noquemenon. También hay un maratón de esquí asociado con el Noquemenon que es en enero. También cerca está el North Country Trail que atraviesa todo el país. Además, hay tantos senderos para motos de nieve aquí que no puedes hacerlo todo en un solo viaje. Los senderos están todos arreglados. También hay una zona de esquí alpino que es muy divertida. Además de los senderos boscosos, hay un sendero para bicicletas pavimentado que corre por millas a lo largo de la orilla del lago. El carril bici está a 1/4 de milla de nuestro alquiler. Realmente tenemos una excelente ubicación, esa es la mejor parte de este alquiler. Estamos a unos 2 kilómetros de la Universidad del Norte de Michigan.

I can’t imagine anything better.

Amazing location and accommodations. Strongly recommend you crack the sliding glass door in the master suite and fall asleep and waking up to the sounds of the waves. Will absolutely be returning next year.

Lake Superior Beach!!!!!

The location can’t be beat! Right on Lake Superior, so close to downtown Marquette. But do note that neighbors are only a few feet away on both sides. This is in a very residential neighborhood, like you can see into neighboring houses, so if you’re looking for even a little bit of seclusion, this is not your place! But if you can get past that, it really is a gem, with everything you need for an amazing vaca! Incredible views of Mother Superior from the living area, kitchen and master bath, and heavenly breezes. Would stay again!

Cozy, Calm & Comforting

This was our second time staying at this lovely home. We slept every night with the slider door open to the sounds of Lake Superior, and let me tell you, we’ve never slept better! Presque Isle is within walking distance and the views from any point are magical. There is an artist’s collective at the end of the road where you can shop and meet the artists themselves. The Ore Dock also sits at the end of the road. You can watch the big freighters come in for loading and hear the sound of the ore train throughout the day. Being from West Virginia, this place reminds me of my childhood and leaves my feeling energized in ways that words just can’t explain. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, then this is the place for you. Check in so you can check out! ❤️

Beautiful home right on Lake Superior

This home greeted you with a wall of windows looking out over Lake Superior just below the spacious deck. The beach was only a few short steps off the deck where you could walk in either direction in the soft sand. Neighborhood residents were friendly as we walked along the beach. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Only two bedrooms but three beds. Only downside was the entrance to the home with many steps. Would be difficult for persons who had trouble managing stairs. Also not wheelchair accessible.

Great to be on the beach!

We have family down the street, so kids loved being able to bike back and forth to see cousins!! We loved having access to the beach and being able to play in the waves of Lake Superior! Nina was always quick to respond, easy to reach, and accommodating. We will certainly be back!

Quiet Waterfront!

This is our second time staying here. We love that it’s on the water for a beach day, relaxing dinner on the deck or a peaceful sunset. The house feels private and quiet yet close to town. I love that the NTN trailhead is an easy warmup ride from the front door. The basketball net out front was a hit for my boys too. This house was perfect for our vacation.

Relaxing weekend

We stayed two days and two nights here and had a great time. We had hoped to get a peak of the Northern Lights, but it wasn’t in the cards. We hiked at the near state park. We loved the downtown area. We spent a lot of time sitting inside and looking out towards the beautiful Lake Superior. Nina was very easy to communicate with. The shower was the only down point as it had very low pressure but didn’t take away from us coming back to visit the area again soon.
