I had booked and paid online. When I got there in person they tried to say that Expedia had booked me in by mistake and that they had a “better” room for a higher price. I said no, I already paid. Showed them my confirmation receipt and said this is my room. My advice is to just book somewhere else. I specifically booked a "signature room" as the pictures for those rooms showed updated rooms. I however was still given a non-updated room at check in that was very outdated and dirty. So, buyer beware; it doesn't matter what you think you're booking, you could still in up in one of these dirty, out-dated rooms.

The parking could be better lit on the cedar looking side. The hotel room itself was ok for cleanliness, the bathroom not cleaned well at all. I would highly suggest someone strip all the old caulking out and replace it professionally! Needs ip dates badly.

I believe we received the "Expedia Room" getting the one room that faced both the highway and the pool so noise was a huge factor during our entire 4 night stay. There is also no elevator to this second floor room and the security door was propped open with a rock. The price was ok but will be trying another hotel next time.

This motel along U.S. 41 at the east side of Marquette, MI has a unique sprawling layout and semi-rustic look, with modern amenities and large open breakfast area. The buildings are a bit dated but are well maintained; the room was clean and had been updated with hard floors and a remodeled bathroom. All in all, a good deal for the area.
