We were disappointed that the property/beach did not look like the picture. The facility is in need of remodeling. We had a beachfront view with two rooms. One of the rooms was so dark, the only source of light was the TV. The beach in front of the property was a mess.

We had a great stay here!! We were on the lake front and could see the Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. The room was much bigger than expected. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were both pleasant and helpful. Close to EVERYTHING!! We didn't have to go far off the interstate to get there. We were super close to Arnold's Ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island, which were were able to purchase tickets for at the hotel. Shopping and food (and FUDGE!!) were just down the street. We hope to stay here again on our next visit!!

Our room was very clean with a nice little a little lakeview balcony with two chairs over the water. We were just steps from Lake Huron. Polite and helpful staff. Overall, this hotel was good for the amount I paid for it. The location was great and had beautiful views of the bridge and island. The room itself was quite large and mostly clean, except for some crumbs on a few surfaces. Definitely a good place for families looking for a more affordable, spacious place to stay with fun amenities. Staff was available and willing to help if needed. I would recommend staying here if looking for a place to stay in Mackinaw City.
