Great location

Centrally located and walking distance to the ferry and shopping. This was a big plus! We like our space when sleeping so the beds were a little small but otherwise it was good. Some nice updates to the property.

Great college reunion!!

Five sorority sisters from the 60's spent four fun filled days in this cute house. It is perfect for sightseeing in Mackinaw City as well as getting to the ferry to Mackinaw Island. The convenience was wonderful. The house was clean, equipped with all the kitchen utensils necessary and quite cozy. I would recommend a visit!!

A Hidden Gem in Mackinaw City

As soon as I viewed The Charming Historic Mackinaw City Cottage on vrbo I knew I wanted to stay there. The location was perfect for walking to the places we wanted to go including the historic sites, ferry, shops and restaurants. In the evening we took walks to see the Mackinaw Bridge lit up and stroll along the lake front. The furniture in the house was cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. The decorum made for a relaxing vacation atmosphere. I highly recommend this charming home.

Great Location, Comfy Stay

This house was so convenient for everything in Mackinaw. We could walk everywhere. We had a spacious, quiet stay in the center of it all. The house was clean and comfortable, it fit all of our needs and we felt cozy staying in the house as much as exploring. At first is was going to be our family of 5, and then my parents stayed with us. It easily fit all 7 of us with additional family coming over who traveled with us. We had a small snaffoo at checkin, but our host was immediately responsive, and even provided us with a giftcard in town to Mackinaw Bakery, which I recommend for great food and good service. Definitely worth your stay!

Charming Little Cottage!

This little cottage is so cute and impeccably clean! It is located in a nice neighborhood and is close to many attractions. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, a beach, the Ferry to Mackinac Island and so much more! We will definitely stay again!

Perfect location!

We loved the comfort and cleanliness of the house. It was great to be able to walk to the ferry, the lighthouse, the bakery, several other restaurants, and the main shopping area. The kitchen had a good selection of necessary utensils and pots, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great central location for Mackinaw City

Really enjoyed this location—walking distance to several of Mackinaw City’s better dining options, easy access to ferries to Mackinac Island, and perfect positioning to conveniently start the Bridge Walk from the south side. Easy drives to Tahquamenon and nice beaches along Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. House was nice as well—seems to have received some new updates just recently. Our son enjoyed the beds in the loft and the two rooms at the top for the adults were cozy and adequate. Would return again as a base for exploring the area.

Great location Cute place!

We stayed here with Friends and loved the place. The location is a lot closer to shopping and the water than the listing has stated which was a pleasant surprise. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. We had an issue with the AC unit when we first got there ( which we understand issues can always happen at anytime) the owner had someone there and had it resolved within an hour. 10/10 would recommend.

great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here - house was very comfy, well-appointed, nicely redone, and fun. Great location - quiet neighborhood, but so nice to just park and be able to walk a few blocks to restaurants, the park by the bridge, ferry, or anywhere else. Even got to sit in the front yard enjoying a fun fireworks show. I'd definitely stay here again!

This house is ideally located walking distance to everything in MacCity. It is an older home thats totally redone, awesome bathrooms, beautiful woodworking throughout, 4 comfy beds. And a laundry room & dishwasher! Three cheers for that! We enjoyed our stay very much & felt safe and comfortable. Thank you!

Great family time location

We enjoyed the convenience of the location. It was off season, but we were still able to walk 3 blocks to see the bridge lit up at night. Also very close to the market, walking distance. We went to the island for one day to hike. Very convenient. The set up of this place was perfect for family time. Highly recommend.

Perfectly described in the listing this house is exactly what we were looking for. It's close to everything. The neighborhood is perfect for taking a walk and enjoying what the city has to offer. The house was immaculate. Plenty of area for the 6 of us. We are actively looking for other dates to stay at this house in the future.
