I rented a family cabin. There was a king size bed and the large loft, pull out bed in the sofa in the living room with a large TV and cable. Very good size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, double sink, bedroom with queen bed t.v., and one bathroom with stand up shower on main floor. Coffee was provided in the room also in the lobby complimentary. Low dog fee of $25 per stay. Make sure to bring any cookware, silverware/plastic ware, plates and cups. Public beach right across the street. The Arnold ferry is right across the street just walk right over. You can buy discounted fery tickets in the lobby. The pool outside stayed open late. There's a large water park on premises that's complimentary to guests. Mackinac City is very walkable. Everyone was very pleasant. Many gift shops, and restaurants to choose from. The public areas are very dog friendly, as are some stores and the Dixie saloon was very dog friendly. They have a large menu and seating outside if you have a dog with you.

I like the cabin look. The first family cabin we were assigned didn’t have hot water and the windows in the front entrance had dead flies so the windows were not cleaned. We were moved to another cabin. The sofa in the 2nd cabin looked really worn and sunken and no extra blanket or pillows provided. The cabins were not worth the $462. I paid.

Think twice before staying here. Power in room is sketchy. 1 tv doest work. Plugs loose and not enough of. Had to find towels from housekeeper. Check in staff not friendly at all.

Lots of space doesnt make up for the lack of cleanliness and loss of power and the staff running my card after the trip *without my knowledge* because THEY told me the wrong price when i checked in. Not to mention the beds felt like they were 90 years old. Im not even 30 and threw out my back on the last day of the trip due to the crappy mattress.

Very comfortable cabin, even with so many others nearby it felt very private. Desk staff were all great! Across the street from the ferry and convenient to several dining options.

This is a cabin on a parking lot on top of other cabins in a parking lot. If you are looking for a “nature” experience - this isn’t it. Staff was rude and unkempt.
