It was within walking distance of everything and the staff was very friendly. The cabins are cute my only suggestion would be if you stay in the family cabins bring some kind of fan the ac is only in the bigger area so when the door is shut it can get hot in the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the motel building behind the cute little cabins. The room was out of date by several decades and the carpet was dirty. The room had a hot tub that you plugged with a rubber stopper. The photos of this room are optimistic. After this stay, I will plan on not staying in Mackinaw City again. All the staff appears to be shipped in from other countries and the cleanliness level in these motels reflects it.
