Our family chose this Copala “Slyawar” condo in Quivira mainly for golf access, which was fantastic and worth it. The grounds, friendly staff, and nearby Copala Clubhouse are all well run and a real plus.The condo itself however was minimally equipped and would benefit from better maintenance. Towels were limited, basic supplies like paper towels and tissues weren’t provided, and the only hair dryer in the unit was old and nearly overheated. We also experienced two more notable issues: the air conditioning was difficult to control, with one bedroom freezing and others unreliable (every internal and external door needed to be shut for it to work), and the front bathroom sink detached and actually fell out during the night!Communication with the owner was inconsistent, with some questions still unanswered. The initial condo guide was sent in multiple VRBO messages and only in Spanish (thank goodness for Google Translate). A late checkout was offered due to the sink issue, which was appreciated, but that only came after our required checkout time. Overall, this stay was acceptable for a golf-focused trip where time in the unit is limited. With improved upkeep and more responsive communication, this condo could be a stronger option.
