I was very delighted in being able to stay for a week in Kim & Van’s beautiful VRBO home which is so much more cozy and complete than the usual B&B. They have gone far beyond my expectations at making me feel both welcomed and comfortable. I’m from the Big Island and so of course loved all of the small Hawaiian decor touches, coconut-scented hand wash and lotion, and even the Hawaiian Aloha Still Water in the fridge! I truly had an excellent experience from day 1 to day 7 of my trip to visit family in Whittier!Some of the top reasons for staying there again:This home has a full, completely stocked kitchen, which was heaven for me as a carnivore. The VRBO had a complete kitchen with oven, stovetop cooking, microwave, fridge/freezer, disposal, nice mugs, plates, utensils and cookware and a counter top to eat at. Lots of spices and other pantry foods plus welcoming treats like protein bars and lots of cold bottled water. The Keurig single cup coffee machine worked perfectly each time; I particularly liked the Starbucks’ Pike Place pods.The interior is spacious and bright with a lovely, soft color palette of creams, ocean blues and sand with its upstairs windows overlooking the Whittier College campus. Laundry on premises with quarters provided for washer/dryer next door. Easy parking.Very clear & simple check-in check-out instrux sent in a timely way.I will definitely stay there again when I visit family in So Cal. It was a delightful "home away from home!" Aloha!

Our stay was truly wonderful. The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and incredibly comfortable—exactly the kind of place you settle into and instantly feel at home.The hosts literally thought of everything. Every detail, from the amenities to the layout, felt well-planned and intentional. It’s rare to find a vacation rental that balances style, comfort, and practicality so well, but this one nails it.If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, well-appointed space in Whittier, look no further. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

I’m so happy I stayed here. The host thought of everything! It was fully furnished with everything you could need. It was very clean and bright, located across the street from Whittier College. Lovely updated home, nicely furnished, comfy decor, well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. I enjoyed the Farmers Market on Saturday, strolling around Whittier College (I saw Catalina Island), great cafes, restaurants and shops a few blocks away. I parked in the carport which eased my mind. The hosts were easy to reach by text. I would go back for another stay.
