I, and my friends, enjoyed the concept/idea of the cabooses. This time, however, the caboose I had seemed to be run down and not as nice as in the past....I had also inquired two times during my stay if I could SEE some of the the other cabooses so I could choose the one I liked best for my next stay but was told (both times) that that is not possible. I would be given what was available....I would rather "KNOW" which one I was actually getting before securing a caboose. :(

What a great experience we had, staying at the Red Caboose! Our cabin was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings as well as the charming town of Lancaster. Thank you!

The Red Caboose grounds were well kept and a wonderful experience! From the restaurant to the petting zoo, we loved every bit of it! The room was a classic motel setup, but with a train flare.

Great place!

The kids loved getting to sleep in a Caboose. It was very clean and comfortable. Kids each had their own bed. Our only issue was the cold floor. When temps dropped and wind picked up the carpeting on the floor did little to cover the cold. So if you are going in cooler weather take your slippers.
