Charming green space across the street from the beach. Host brought us two mangos when we arrived from their tree. Delicious! We definitely appreciated the intimate quiet space.

Cottages set right across from beach everyday was a beautiful sunset and the mornings had that ocean breeze . Staff was exceptional, the cottages are meant to feel like your living at the beach also like home.

I can’t say enough how incredible the service and the place are. Elena is very accommodating to the core. It is close to the beach, across the road, and convenient to all other tourist location in the island. Definitely recommended.

Very beautiful property right across from a walkable beach ! We had a late check in and hosts gave clear directions and even met us. Cottage had a kitchen and everything you need to cook and even a Brita water pitcher in fridge. Grounds were gorgeous and lots of parking !Close to lots of shopping and dining . Will stay here again if we visit Maui again. Thank you !

We liked our cottage and their lovely manicured gardens so much! Everything you will need is inside. Air conditioning even in each room! The kitchen contains the essential equipment to cook!! We prefer living like this compare to a big hotel. This location is charming and safe. The beach is secluded, tranquil and allows for long walks. The hostesses are a delight! We paid $13 to Uber to take us to Kihei villages where restaurants, shopping and music abound. Recommend Nano Lani big time!

This place is a treasure. The cottage we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The staff was so kind and courteous. I give this place 10 stars. Although the pictures posted are indeed the rooms available they just don't do this place justice. The grounds are beautiful. I would choose these cottages over a big resort ANYTIME!! To say I'm highly pleased and impressed with our stay is an understatement

Great family owned cottage

Great family owned vacation cottage! Not walkable to restaurants but right across the street from a beautiful beach. They even provided beach chairs and an umbrella! Beautiful property grounds. Staff was beyond helpful and excellent! Couldn’t ask for a more hospitable and welcoming cottage for our trip. Highly recommend.

Nona Lani Cottages was everything that we'd hoped for and more. The cottage was in excellent condition and fully functional. The location was great; across the road from a beach and a short drive to South, Central, and West Maui sites of interest. We found our cottage to be very peaceful making it easy to chill and relax with little evidence of other guests. I'm so happy that we ended up at Nona Lani instead of a resort or condo.

The personal touches of Nona Lani Cottages are hard to beat. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our cottage was clean, and the location cannot be beat. We will be back!

Convenient Location; Dated Interiors

Nona Lani is very conveniently located not far from the entrance to S Kihei Road. This makes it a great point for staging excursions to other areas without the hassle of navigating S Kihei during times of high traffic. Although right across from the beach, I would hesitate to call any of the cottages "ocean view", as there is an obstructing embankment right across the street. And anyways, you are better off in the quiet cottages set back in the garden, away from the street and all the passing cars. The grounds are well-manicured and pleasant, there is free parking not far from your cottage. The manager greeted us warmly on arrival. On the downside, the cottage decor was extremely dated, and thoughtful amenities were lacking, such that any romantic nuance was lost. There was no complementary tea/coffee, no basics in the kitchen like salt/pepper shakers, and certainly no charming basket of fruit to greet us when we walked in. The mattress was overly hard, there were few hangers in the closet, and there were no stands to set travel bags off the floor. It was our first stay in Maui, so I don't have a great basis for comparison on the island, but we later stayed at a B&B in Kaua'i that cost significantly less and was far, far cozier. Surely more could be done in this area. In summary, it's a great location right across from the beach, with quick access to important roads. But couples seeking a cozy romantic getaway should probably look elsewhere.
