We had a pleasant stay. The pool and breakfast were satisfactory and simple. We did not have a chance to enjoy tiki bar. The charm of the building is nice. Our room was comfortable however our shower didn’t work at first and had to use the room next door. Our shower also had someone’s hair it as well. The shower itself could use a lot of updating but served our purpose although minimal water pressure. The young lady who helped us was very accommodating. We came to relax and have some fun and we did. We never use room service so I can not comment. We rented bicycles for a day and enjoyed they were rented on site.

Quaint motel with a nice "Key West" vibe, a pleasant 20 minute walk to Duval St. Expected smaller room with little stand shower that was clean and just what we needed to crash in after a full day in the sun. Simple continential breakfast with many options provided daily along with a filtered water machine available 24hrs to refill your water bottle. Clean refreshing pool. Staff keep to themselves but answered questions if necessary. Check in and out was seamless. Mix of families and couples staying during our 4 day visit.

The Palms hotel was a unique experience from the traditional stay at a hotel. Its Victorian style appearance and cozy rooms enhanced the atmosphere. Their Continental breakfast was a suprise as they offered pool side dining and made great use of the space to offer a wider variety of options compared to a lot of big hotel chains. I can see myself staying here again the next time I visit the Keys.

Peaceful setting

We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood where the hotel was located. It was a short bike ride to the action of Duval St. The breakfast and sitting around the pool were great. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable.

First Visit to Key West = AWESOME

We stayed at the Palms for our first-ever visit to Key West, and would return there again when we come back to Key West for future visits. Located in a quiet area near the center of Key West, with easy walk/bike options to reach most areas of interest within 15-30 minutes, with most all sites less than a mile from the hotel. Nice breakfast by the pool every morning (see picture). Staff were friendly and helpful when needed!

Super cute property! Our room was tiny and could use a little updating. Breakfast was served right outside our door which was great to open your door and grab coffee, but not amazing if you want to sleep in. The pool could use some attention - we were there for 3 nights and it was never cleaned. Staff were super friendly and helpful!
