The in-unit A/C was disturbingly loud and on top of that there were two industrial A/C stations right under the balconies. The noise was unbearable. What sane architect would design something like that?

Everyone was nice just not as upscale as it looks In pics. Rooms are needing some upgraded TLC in my opinion. Definitely need more hotel food options. Mexican restaurants is ok. Breakfast needs to be served all day if that is the only restaurant on site, shuts off at 10:30 am

We’ve stayed at many places in Key West. Of the hotels, Opal was the best! The location is great! Our marina view room was clean with a beautiful view and it had a fridge and a Keurig! They have free bottled water in the lobbies - huge plus! Would DEFINITELY stay at Opal again!

Sad 😞

This was our second visit to the hotel and I had bought friends with us this time as it was one of the best destinations and hotels we had been to. Unfortunately, the staff were not as friendly or welcoming and I was upset to find the best thing about the hotel (the sunset balcony was closed). Not only was it closed but there was no notification before we arrived or on arrival plus works were being carried out during the day making the pool area inhabitable due to the drilling.

Wide assortment of healthy and traditional food at breakfast and well priced. Room was clean but some areas in need of updating. AirCon worked well. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Had certain issues with a double booking which eluded admin staff and that was ‘somewhat’ irksome but apart from that all was well.
