This is an older Inn. Antique decor. Nice setting. Staff did their job but weren't really friendly. Paid for breakfast buffet was good. We did enjoy sitting on the veranda with our coffee in the morning. Nice stay for 1 night.
The rooms are old and in need of renovation and modernization
I understand that this is a historical property. However, the room we got was not well maintained, The fridge was on the floor as we walked into the room, was unplugged. The phone did not work. We’ve stayed at better “historic” places in the White Mountain region. I guess it’s okay if you’re there just for golf. We could have done better. Disappointing.
This property and the area that it’s in is absolutely beautiful. The people here are so nice. We are definitely going to come back.
This place was very enjoyable, absolutely beautiful inside and out. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch and surrounding area was also very relaxing and close to waterfalls, dining, and other attractions. Would highly recommend and definitely would travel there again!
I liked the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. I wish the bar would have been open past 9pm.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. It was very clean, comfortable bed, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant at the hotel was not open but I found an amazing one in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Fantastic location. Too bad the restaurant and bar were closed. Going up and down the stairs to our room wreaked havoc on this old mans knees too! Please fix the elevator!

Everything about the hotel was wonderful starting with the warm welcome by the staff to the unbelievable setting in nature looking out over the mountains. Loved the beautiful veranda!
The property is in the most idyllic location, located high on a hill, surrounded by mountains with a lovely long front porch to enjoy your views. Skiing and golf are right outside your door. Decor inside is charming but in need of an update. My room had cracked bathroom tiles and ripped holes in the curtains. Wallpaper which has been painted over is starting to peel away. The price was right though so if it were more I would’ve been upset with my room. I wasn’t there to spend time indoors so I was fine with it.
Liked the nostalgic feel...old elevator. The old windows rattled a little in wind. We just tightened them.
