Inn keeper was rude.
The innkeeper was crabby! When I asked for a cup of coffee, she checked her watch to see if it was 7 yet and begrudgingly gave it to me! Also, it was difficult to have any privacy. It felt like we were staying at my mother’s house! We would not recommend this inn for couples looking for romance!
I was excited about the balcony with our room but it needed painting and there were no chairs to sit on. The website said there was an LCD tv but there was none in the room.
We love the town of Jackson NH and the RiverWood Inn is an excellent example of why. It was warm and cozy, beautifully appointed and our Inn Keepers charming. It made our return to Jackson after many years very special.

Hi, We’re sorry that your room was not up to your expectations. As far as the balcony rail - we’re in the process of painting the Carriage House and balcony railings (we’ve been waiting over a half year for a painter to arrive on site) and forgot to replace the furniture after he left. Again, our apologies for a less than perfect stay. James and Susan
