Terrible neighborhood. Awful smell when entering the room. Hotel room was dirty and doors were broken. The sink and cupboards were broken. I didn’t even stay when I checked in. I decided to lose my deposit that’s how terrible the place was.

Clean room, spacious, hardwood floors. Staff is just doing their job. When i inquired about the broken ice machine the response i got made it seem like it had been broken for years and they just didn't care anymore. I asked for toilet paper and they asked me for $2!! THEY CHARGE YOU FOR TOILET PAPER! And it's cash only!! The safety latch on my door was missing, there's actual writing on the wall that looks old like no one ever bothered to clean or paint over it, there was a bubble in the ceiling over the shower head(I'm guessing water damage), the safety bar in the bath is also not secure. On the plus side: two blocks away you have a Whataburger, two gas stations that double as mini marts with beer, wine and ATMs available and a bus stop that is a direct route to downtown and the airport. Parking lot is very well lit at night. If you're on a budget and planning on spending all your time out and just need a place to crash this could work. It worked for me! Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

Room size good, and if it's broken, ask right away. This is a budget hotel not your house bring your own supplies! They was stolen from so be professional. Take care of your own kids. Nothing in life is free pay your on way.

It overall was a nice experience. But I was in room 161 and the heat didn’t work. Generally I wouldn’t care, but it was cold out yesterday when I come back to Houston I’m gonna stay here again. I’m just gonna make sure that the heat works in my room if it’s still cold outside
