Only stayed one day and did not check put breakfast. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Wish it was more updated and painted. Paneling and fixtures in room detract alot. Elevator was not working and was a let down considering I had alot of luggage to haul.

I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and modern room. The only downside was that the elevator was out of order, which could be bothersome if you have a lot of luggage to transport to/from your room. I like the lobby coffee bar available until noon, and the breakfast choices were perfect to have a healthy start to my day. The area is safe for a solo female and it is practically beside The Galleria Mall if you go through the Nordstrom entrance. There is a bar across the street that plays loud music on weekends until 2 or 3 am but I personally didn't mind that. Great value and friendly staff.

Really great value for the price. Except for the size gym towels for the bathroom. This Sonesta Suites is a hidden gem for the price. Less than a block to the entrance of Nordstrom which leads into the galleria mall. We didn't eat the free breakfast but for the price this is in a great location within walking distance of places to eat.
