After our flight from Houston to Newark was canceled due to severe weather, my elderly parents and I unexpectedly had to spend the night in Houston. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into a much smoother experience thanks to Bailee at the front desk of the Houston Airport Marriott.
From the moment we arrived, Bailee was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She made the check-in process easy, offered us the option to upgrade, and helped us get access to the Marriott M Club, which made our stay much more comfortable after a long day of travel. Since I was traveling with my elderly parents, she also helped arrange wheelchair service for the next day so we could get back to the IAH terminal without any trouble.
What really stood out was how thoughtful she was throughout the entire interaction. She even wrote us a sweet note thanking us for staying at the hotel, which was such a kind and personal touch.
Travel disruptions can be overwhelming, especially when traveling with elderly family members, but Bailee’s warmth and professionalism made a huge difference for us. My parents and I are very grateful for her help and hospitality. Marriott is lucky to have someone like her representing the brand.
