What a lovely home! Close to the Broad Street Market and a stone’s throw from the River, we enjoyed our weekend stay very much! The owner was in contact and made sure everything was to our liking/comfort. Would absolutely stay here again!!

First off, Bea's communication is top notch. I kept thinking of questions leading up to our trip and was always super fast to respond! Her place is super cute and in a great location. Tons of cute little shops and restaurants within walking distance. The River is right across the street and we enjoyed morning walks along the riverfront before it got too hot. We chose her place because it was in between Gettysburg and Hershey, and we spent a few days in each place. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure, especially in the kitchen is crazy! :) Also, she saved me... I forgot my shampoo, conditioner and body wash at home and she had Aussie hair supplies and a lavender body wash in the shower! We really enjoyed our stay! She made our family vacation hassle free! Thanks again, Bea!

A Gem of a Stay

We had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway to celebrate our grandson’s 13th birthday! The home was lovely and comfortable. The location was great for seeing Hershey Park two days and exploring Harrisburg the other days. Bea made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend this home and hope to return someday!

Genealogy Trip

My sisters and I came to Harrisburg to work on Revolutionary and Civil War ancestors. Bea’s place was in driving distance to everywhere we needed to go. Her place was perfect for us to all have our own space. We loved walking around the neighborhood and stopping in the book stores, shops and market.

Comfortable and homely

The listing was accurate; the house clean and comfortable. Access was simple and communication with the host easy. I especially enjoyed the location with access to the sidewalk along the Susquehanna river. The parking arrangement with the Minimart is extremely helpful as finding street parking would be very difficult.

Wonderful

We loved it, perfect for all 5 of us and a baby. We enjoyed watching movies and playing games. We have a forever memory as the baby took his first steps! Backyard was a great area for us to smoke cigars and be together cracking jokes and what not. If you want to stay here we all recommend a big yes.

The place was so clean, smelled so good, amazing vibes. The location was awesome, parking was super easy! Mini mart right around the corner was awesome, and the host was super nice, she recommended some places for us to go which was really helpful. Everything was very nice!

Perfect Christmas Experience

This was our first Christmas without a home in Central PA. We still have family here but not enough space for 5 of us plus a dog. Bea was amazing. She put up a tree for us and had dog food bowls ready to go with water and treats.Walking the dog on the river front was perfect, although a bit cold.I highly recommend this property and will be sure to book again when i'm back in the area.

Harrisburg visit

This is a nice, clean, upgraded property just off Front Street in Downtown Harrisburg. The beds in the second floor bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and upgraded. Being an older property, I always worry about the availability of hot water for showers…no problem here. The house was very clean on arrival and the check in and check out instructions were very clear. While parking is a bit difficult immediately at the front door, our hostess has made arrangements to allow guests to park at the corner convenience store a short walk away. While we did not take advantage of it, the third floor loft and the first floor game room with the foosball table make this property a great place for a family with younger children. All in all, a great place at which I would consider staying again.

A Harrisburg Gem!

My husband and two daughters (4 and 1) absolutely adored this home!! We are from Philadelphia suburbs and have never really explored Harrisburg. Bea’s location was close to everything we wanted to do - we walked everywhere including Millworks, Home 231, and Little Amps (delicious spots for great food, art and coffee) and then the Whitiker Science Center for a day of fun and learning (this place was amazing and had an incredible kid area for imaginative play!) The Capitol building runs tours every half hr or so and we were able to explore this and so much more with just a few minutes of walking. The home itself was lovely with plenty of room to spread out and relax while not disturbing the kids at bedtime. The home was well equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen and bathroom etc. and the game room was a hit with foosball and board games galore. Lastly, we ended our trip with a day trip to Hershey park which, again, was close by (25 minute drive). Bea’s notes for check in were very clear and the parking was great! Could not recommend this place more - a Harrisburg must!!

Perfect spot!

Very close to the Airport. Walking distance to basically everything in downtown harrisburg. Very quiet location. Perfect for a big family! Had the best board games available. The beds were super comfy. Will have to stay here again. I’m very satisfied with everything in the house. 10/10 recommend.

Comfortable historic home

Our family of five adults and young adults were visiting PA to enjoy Hersheypark but also wanted to experience the wider Harrisburg area. This house in midtown was perfect for us. We loved the neighborhood, especially the fantastic bookstore up the street. The house was very clean and equipped with anything we might need. The air conditioning kept the place cool and comfortable on our 90+ degree days. Special shout out to the excellent water pressure in the shower. Communication with Bea was easy and always prompt. We highly recommend this home for your stay in Harrisburg.

Quaint Historic House

The information binder informed us that his house was part of a development built in 1800’s. It was very nice and clean. It had toys that my kids loved playing with! The air conditioning kept the house a perfect temperature and the extra window unit kept the top room from getting too hot. It was only a 30 min drive to Hershey. After the first day my daughter said it felt like home.
