We stayed 3 nights. Checkin was simple. The house itself met expectations and had several nice upgrades. The beds very comfortable & hotel style bedding. Alit of room for a small group. But the add says it's a beach bungalow...its interior has beach vibe however this home sits in an older neighborhood & has no safe walking sidewalks or bike lanes connecting to the beach area. Must drive a vehicle at all times. Some of the other homes looked well maintained & some didn't. I tried to contact the manager twice for WiFi info. No response. The password sent to me was not correct. However the TVs were Roku so there was plenty viewing options but I needed WiFi for a medical device and it did not run properly without WiFi. Thank goodness not life threatening but first time ever staying in a VRBO that manager or owner did not respond when needed. That was disappointing. Overall there were more pros than cons.

Langley Air Show

We had a great stay. This house was very clean and very conveniently located. We were close to Buckroe Beach and the very delicious Buckroe Coffee Company. We were close to Langley AFB, Fort Monroe, Downtown Hampton. It was a perfect homebase for our trip to visit our airmen

Perfect Family Stay

This house is perfect for a family getaway. It's a short drive to Buckroe Beach, local parks and downtown. The neighborhood is full of families and children. The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. But moreso than that, it has the most thoughtful extra touches - there are beach chairs, there's a Pack n Play and a kitchen booster seat in case you have a little one, there's a big yard so the kids can go outside and get out of your hair. The beds were comfortable, the house was exceptionally clean, and following the check in steps were super easy. I got regular messages from the owner to check in, so I feel confident that if any issues had occurred, we wouldn't have had any problem getting a quick resolution. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice tidy house

We had to attend a retirement ceremony at JBLE and needed to book this place for a couple of days. It was the perfect size, and the location was great.The amenities were great. The host was kind enough to leave bath gel and shampoo, clean towels, coffee, and fixings.Probably should check the batteries in the remotes. We could only get one remote to work.Be careful walking across the yard in the dark as there are many mole holes and ridges. In speaking to a neighbor who is very friendly she indicated that the neighborhood had the same issues.We had an issue with one of the faucets in the bathroom and we notified the owner Carl, who was very receptive and helpful and came right out to correct it.All in all it was a nice stay, a short walk to the beach.

Checked all the boxes!

When I rent a VRBO, there are three things I need 1) Cleanliness, 2) Quiet, and 3) Comfortable beds. This place has all three. My kids enjoyed the play structure in the backyard, as well.Carl sent all the information we needed in a timely manner and was clear in his communications.

Well decorated beach home that has beautiful art in every room. When the temperatures soared, this house was the perfect retreat for games and snacks until beach temps were more comfortable.

We had a great time. Property was what we were expecting. The one bathroom could use some updating especially in the shower. The knobs were rusty and water collected in the shower when we were showering. Walls in entire place could use a fresh coat of paint but otherwise a great place !
