While the staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s just a room to sleep in it’s an open room with bathroom and shower. I booked the garden view but it was just a window that was covered by a giant plant. There are not many amenities besides sitting outside. Overall decent hostel. Air conditioning was fantastic WiFi is slow but tv was great also had English channels. Choose this place if you need a room to sleep in and you are literally 5 minutes from the airport. They also provide rental cars which is a plus and they help you find drivers. To take you to locations you need to go. They provide drinks and breakfast for purchase. Night staff was supper friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at Hotel Tejar in Guatemala. Overall, my experience was okay, though it was a bit different from what I was expecting. The location was convenient, and the staff were courteous. However, there are a few areas that could benefit from some improvements to enhance guest comfort and overall experience. With a few updates, I believe this hotel has better potential to offer an even better stay in the future.

We booked 3 nights fairly last minute to our trip and this was one of the only budget friendly options available. You get what you pay for. Don't expect a 5* hotel but the place is safe inside a gated community, has friendly and helpful staff, and at least our room was quite spacious accommodating 5 people with 3 beds. We had some delays in transit and we didn't check in until after 1am. They promptly let us in and had no issues. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A couple of complaints: The shower hot water heater was very weak and barely made warm water. The bedsheets weren't properly cleaned.
