Breakfast was great and so was the staff! Met the owner and she was warm and welcoming. I would most definitely stay there again if and when I go back to Guatemala City! Don't let the look of the outside of the building fool you, the inside is fantastic!

Bargain!

My wife and I visited to explore Zone 1 for a full day and two nights. The hotel staff was great with the complementary breakfast being a better bargain than anything in the states. Sophie also helped us arrange our transport from the airport, and to Antigua.

This was a beautiful home located walking distance to the city's historical district. Jessica and Fernanda took great care of us. Breakfast was delicious and we had drinks in the beautiful garden one night before we went to dinner. Wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful hotel not too far from the airport. I stayed for one night after arriving on a late flight, and they kindly arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel as well as a late check in. The building itself is lovely with old world architectural charm. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was superb. 10/10 would absolutely stay again!

Very hospitable host with great communication. Let us store bags for the day while made day trip and awaited next reservations. Close walk to central park. Delicious breakfast. Pros: Feels like Home. Fernanda is so kind, helpful and makes a delicious breakfast (black beans, plantains and eggs with tomatoes). Room is very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is good as well. Lots of stores and food places that you can eat at during the day. Cons: No AC or Fans, and the area is not safe at night time. Even during the day time you still have to be alert

This is a very beautiful property about 100 years old. Very lovely inside well appointed and quaint. However, there was some loud hammering and pounding all morning long that was not very pleasant. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

This is a lovely family establishment with a few rooms in a grand historic home near the shopping district and market. Walkable to parque central of Guatemala. We arrived late and Jessica took good care of us with preparing a little meal

Historic and comfortable with Garden and Breakfast

Stay at Casa Carmel is just perfect. It is a 10 out of 10. This sweet little guest house in zone. One of Guatemala city is historic, quaint, and located well for shopping and money exchange. We walked to the artisan market. Fernanda took great care of us and cooked delicious breakfast.
