The Motel 6 of New Stanton is a basic motel. The room was clean and neat, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was comfortable and the temperature of the room was easily adjusted for comfort. The room contained the bare necessities: bed, table and two chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and locations to put personal belongings. Even with the close proximity to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, vehicular noise was not heard. What was heard, was the noise from the room next door. Volume on the TV was either a low murmur or loud enough to hear the words spoken. The doors to the rooms closed with a thud (when the occupant wasn't carefully closing it), which was also heard. All in all, this would be a location that would be used again. The check-in was fast and easy and the staff were polite, cheerful, and ready to help. For what my husband and I needed, it was perfect and a perfect location for what we had to do and where we needed to go.

Vol Fire department is right next door. I was awakened 4 times in the middle of the night to loud sirens. Other than that everything else was fine . Good location off PA Turnpike . restaurants in area.

Hotel was what we needed it to be as we were travelling with dogs. They had designated pet area, very friendly front staff. Complimentary bottle of water which was a nice touch. Room was clean, but old. No full size towels for showering which was a bit weird but we dealt with it. Bed was pretty decent. Would stay here again if we needed a dog friendly hotel
