I miss Scott's coffee every morning.....Pam and Scott were wonderful and very accommodating. Their knowledge of the house and the area were very helpful especially with our family that lives there. The pictures are what it truly is and there is more to this house which Pam and Scott will share. We stayed for 4 days and wanted to extend but was unable to do so as they were full. We go back to Scottdale every year and this is where we will be staying from now on. Thank you Pam and Scott for making this a most welcoming place to stay !!

When you walk through the front door of this Victorian Era mansion, you will feel like you have stepped back in time 100 years. Every room in the house is unique and elegant, and with every modern convenience. The breakfasts are great, too with an assortment of fruit, pastries, cereal, and you are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare hot foods (all the necessary food and supplies are provided). You eat your breakfast in the formal dining room. We hated to leave!

The house is beautifully restored, if not a bit too intense with all the wall paper! The Federal room was comfortable and had all we needed. Including civil war uniforms and weapons on display. We found the bed to be a little saggy in the centre but nonetheless comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, with very little which wasn't prepackaged and insanely sweet. But this could be because we had to leave early...

This is such a great place to stay about an hour from Pittsburgh, PA. We have had such a lovely time in this lovely old house. Really comfortable beds, nice and warm fire places. Pleanty of snacks and tea and coffee.

My wife and I stayed the weekend so we could attend a wedding that took place at Greendance Winery. The pictures of the B&B on the website simply do not do justice to the majestic beauty of the mansion that was ours for the weekend. When we arrived we came up the back entrance which is allowed us to see a nice patio with plenty of chairs and a grill. We use the code that was provided and went in the back door and were greeted with a modern looking butler's pantry. As we rounded the corner into the dining room we were struck with the absolute beauty of this residence. Passing through the dining room we went into the front hallway in the beautiful staircase that leads to the upper floors. The hallway and the dining room both had hard wood paneling and simply were exquisite. In between each floor there is a landing with large windows that have stained glass and an area to sit. Once we made it to the second floor we found our room, the Crystal Parlor, which has a private half bath and a full bathroom that off of the hallway. Our room was large and just like the photos on the website. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location was perfect for us to attend the wedding at Greendance Winery, which was only about 10 to 15 minutes away. The wedding was at 5 P.M. which gave us an opportunity to do some site seeing as well. We booked a tour at Frank Loyd Wright's masterpiece, Falling Water. It took us about 45 minutes to drive there and we had a really nice visit and it was well worth the effort. After spending a little over an hour at Falling Water, we then we headed to the 911 Memorial. The Memorial was about 40 to 50 minutes away from Falling Water which is about the same distance from the B&B. The Memorial is not complete yet and we intend to return in the spring. There was one snafu during our stay, the air conditioning went out on the second floor. I mistakenly thought that the the second floor was not fully air conditioned and never called to notify them that there was an issue. Unfortunately it was over 90 degrees that day and made the first night uncomfortable. We were able to open a window and the room had a fan which allowed us to be able to sleep. The next day I received an unsolicited text from Pat apologizing for the air conditioning issue and letting us know it had been taken care of. You will also not that the website States that the breakfast is continental. The have fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea and other items you would expect. However, if you are seeking a full breakfast to there is a little spot called Wise's that is fantastic. We had breakfast there Saturday, Wise's is closed on Sunday, and I had bacon, eggs and toast for $4.60 and it was great food at an unbelievable price. (Wise's is a small "hole in the wall type dinner and is on South Broadway and is within walking distance) Overall this is a great place to stay and I wish we would have had more time just to hangout in the residence. It is a true jewel and should not be missed and we intend to return with friends in the spring.

We stayed here for NYE in the crystal room of the house. First, the hosts were great with communication. Second, the house and our room were beautifully decorated. It was like stepping back in time! The only troubles we had were with the bath tub and tv but we managed. Would recommend a stay here!

What a great air B&B. The history and stories from this house are amazing. A little off the beaten path but well worth the turn. We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly loved our space. The shared kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could think of. We BBQ'd one night and thoroughly enjoyed or high end history rich room. The bathrooms were so cool. We also had lots of outdoor space and spent a lot of time on the balconies. Our friends had the room beside us ( the Federal Room) with a private balcony where we enjoy some evening drinks and a dinner or two. All in all, great place to stay and Jan, one of the caretakers was super helpful and knowledgeable about the Manor as well as the area. Over all - loved it! Highly recommend it.

My Grandmother lived on the next street over from this house. For 50 years, I have always wanted to see the inside of this house. I have seen it go from grandiose to being made into apartments. We were able to stay at this house as it is now an AirBnb. Each room has a theme, the downstairs parlor is a bedroom, and the remaining downstairs is an apartment. The basement is an apartment as well, but we were not able to see that. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have their own bathroom. We stayed on the second floor in the Rose Garden Room. It was beautiful, and faces onto the main street. It has a working fireplace and a "powder room" with the main bathroom off the hallway. There is a common kitchen. When we were there, they were working on the 3rd floor. This house has all of the modern day amenities, with the original feel of a house that was built at the turn of the 20th century. We were able to see the house, except for the basement apartment. My cousin told us the story of the house. It must have been something back in the day!

My girlfriend and I stayed here around New Years and we had a very wonderful stay! The manor is like stepping into a time machine of history, and you feel like a wealthy early 1900s patron. We were in the Crystal Rose room, very nice pink hues, and access to the very nice pink bathroom. The bed and fireplace were great. There is also a balcony as well which was super nice. Would love to stay again in the summer!

We stayed there for five days and enjoyed it! Each room is a "Themed" room! We stayed in the Victoria Room! Comfortable bed, beautiful antiques and the kitchen is stocked well with basic needs! My wife's family is from Scottdale and the surrounding area, we plan to use this great place the next time we come back for the family reunion!
