I like the on-premisis bar/restaurant, however I was not prepared for the FIFTY DOLLAR pet charge nor the $14 (parking lot) charge. Room is ok but it smells of stale smoke.
Carpet in hallways and room was a little beat up but the rustic feel, bar area and close to interstate was great. I’d stay here again
Pay for parking....ridiculous. Not even a secured lot. Room was outdated. Artwork above bed had glass broken out and art missing. Trash under one bed, food under the other. Only 1 coffee cup, had to share. Check-in was slow, had to wait while attendant took a phone call. Doubt I would stay again, or recommended.

Always my go to, but they don't honor VIP status anymore, so parking at $14 a night is a real bummer. Free parking at locations across the street.

This is always a great value. Older hotel but the staff treats you like you are truly valuable. They have a restaurant, bar, and pool. I usually stay as an overnight when flying in or out of Grand Junction.
Second time staying at a Grand Vista, this time I was not charged for parking because I am a premium expedia member. First time I was charged $20 for parking without being told there was a parking fee. Grand Vista is deceiving people by being the lowest price in the area on the Expedia sites, then adding the $20 parking fee. Oddly, this brings their listed price to the identical price of their competitors in the area. Weird huh, and not right!
The room 502, needs to have the carpet tightened or replaced. I tripped on it twice during my stay. Otherwise very clean and quiet.

Nothing unique about it. Charging $12 a nite for parking, ya pay for a room and have to pay for parking, but how else are you supposed to get there??? Won't be booking here again anytime soon.
They had water damage from a storm. Housekeeping should be working the front desk. They were were apologetic, and went out of their way to make things better. The front desk staff was rude. They had no compassion for the impact the storm had on us and our rooms.
