Overall our stay was good, the only downfall was the lack of view of the beach. Our bedroom room was modern and clean, with lovely city views out to the hinterland. Parking was easy. It will be much more pleasant when the renovations are complete and you don’t have to catch 2 seperate lifts.

The hotel is currently undergoing some upgrades which is mentioned by the hotel. what they don't tell you is your need to use two lifts to get to your room and this creates a bottleneck everytime you need to leave or get to the hotel. Check in was slow due to the above reasons. I've stayed at Q1 numerous times before and customer service is hit and miss depending on who you get, you get the impression they don't like it, if you ask extra questions. On the upside the apartment was clean and had been updated however the lounges seem old and dilapidated, I preferred the old couches. I've got a box of chocolates and wine on arrival but I've got Expedia to thank for that one.

The location was easy walking distance to the heart of surfers paradise. The room was clean and tidy. Found the staff were very helpful and courteous. This is my second stay at the resort and they did not disappoint me. I will definitely stay there again.

Room was spacious and clean. Amenities (toiletries, hairdryer, kitchenware, iron, laundry, dishwasher, coffee, tea, milk, salt/pepper) were more than sufficient. Housekeeping was good and kept us stocked with clean towels, coffee, milk, etc. The location was perfect (beside G:Link tram, close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
