Which hotel doesn’t accept Apple Pay in 2025!? I got asked to pay a deposit at check-in even with the stay fully paid. I was happy to do so but I didn’t have a physical credit card with me. I only had Apple Pay which staff said they didn’t take “per hotel policy”. They asked me to withdraw cash as alternative. Again, not easy if I don’t carry bank card as we live in a (almost) cashless society. So, they said this would be the only way for me to check-in. Here I was with only my 5 year old daughter without a hotel to stay. Even worse, it was my daughter’s birthday. The staff lack empathy and said there was nothing he could do. I left and managed to transfer money to a kind person at the supermarket who agreed to withdraw the cash for me so I could check in at the hotel. Terrible experience! I would expect better from Novotel part of Accor Group.

Room was not very clean, bed was terrible, water pressure was terrible, staff were not very friendly and not trained properly. Breakfast had very little variety and dirty tables. Coffee machine was to hard to use and terrible. Staff had proper commercial coffee machine but extra cost. Paid for 2 coffees from staff but was just as bad as the one you make yourself. Very disappointing would not recommend

When we opened the door to the room it smell really bad of damp. The TV stopped working, the aircon stopped working and the pillows had mold on them. I would give 5 start but the hotel didn’t do room service to clean the our rooms the day before living. The only annoying thing with that is that we were traveling with a baby, so the bin in the room was full of nappies and garbage. Also the swimming pool was closed but at least we could go to another hotel (walking distance) of the same chain to use the pool. Other than that everything was great, staff was nice, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast was pretty good; it’s a buffet with plenty of options for everyone. I loved it that you could get eggs your way.
