We stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience overall. The first family room we were given was not clean and was in poor condition. The “king bed” was simply two single beds pushed together with no topper, making it very uncomfortable. The carpet was ripped in multiple places, and in one corner it had lifted completely, exposing sharp nail ends, which felt unsafe especially with children. The spa bath also tripped the power every time it was used, so it was unusable.
We requested a room change and were offered either a move or a refund for the nights not stayed. We chose to change rooms. The second room was cleaner and an improvement, but it was still very worn, dated, and clearly in need of maintenance.
At $325 per night, this accommodation was absolutely not worth the price paid. The only real positives were the location, which was excellent, and the pool, which the kids really enjoyed. Other than that, the accommodation did not meet expectations and offered very poor value for money.
