The hotel is very old and tired and the rooms are the same. Doors are chipped, furniture not so great, no air conditioning in our room but a ceiling fan. However, the breeze that came through the balcony door was amazing. Whilst the room may have been a little disappointing, it was spotlessly clean and cleaner than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The view of the beach was great. Location - you couldn't ask for a better position. Walking distance to everything you want and the beach across the road. Free parking as well. Would I stay again - yes but only if the price wasn't too expensive.
Worst place I ever come across. As soon as I got there the stuff were completely rude, never try to help us and the manager Elena was lying to us all the time, worst people I have ever met . I DO NOT recommend it to anyone! If I could give it a 0 star rating I would. #Disappointed
You can't beat the location of this hotel, right off the beach with beautiful beach front views. Walking distance to most attractions at surfers paradise. Overall the hotel looked old, the rooms need updating and the garage smelled a bit but for the price and location it's worth checking out.
We stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect for us. Don't expect a luxurious hotel if you book here, this is a great place to stay if you're not too fussed on accommodation. This is an affordable place to stay and has everything you need. It is also close to everything and right along the beach. Great Location! The rooms are decent and comfy, bathroom only supplied soap so remember to bring your own toiletries. You won't have housekeepers cleaning your room everyday but remember that this isn't the Hilton. There is a lovely cafe/ bar on the ground with live music. The pool area is great! Although everyone can see you from the cafe so you'll be watched (only mentioning this because I felt a bit uncomfortable hehe). Overall, this we had a lovely stay here. Bed was comfortable, view was great and the location was perfect as it was so close to everything.
NO AIRCON! What kind of Queensland hotel has no aircon!? The service was kind but no one comes and cleans your room. That didn’t bother us though. Also the price is good and the pool area and location was great but that’s it. Won’t be going back.
We stayed here for 2 nights last week end. The room was dirty, curtains had holes in them, towels stained, sofa filthy, no air con...hottest week end this summer, fan noisy, no ventilation in the bathroom. Very disappointing...did have clean sheets though
There was no air conditioning in the room, one fan in the bedroom, night light outside the front door kept me awake, it was like a full moon every night. Stayed for 3 nights had paid for the room before we left to go down there, if I had known there was no air conditioning would not have stayed there, no change of bed linen, no new towels, no garbage taken out, the room was not cleaned the whole 3 days we stayed. Very poor service for the amount that you pay to stay.
We stayed over new years 2017/18 for 1 week. We didn't realise when we book the room that the building did not have air conditioning available (we presumed it would be like every other motel we've stayed in and have it as standard). The room only had a ceiling fan in the bedroom and no source of cooling in the lounge area. If air conditioning was available our opinion of the motel would be different. The pool area is good, the gym may be ok in winter, much too humid for summer use. We had good views of the beach from our room and shopping is very close by as well as night clubs. Beach side markets we're on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday only 50m from the motel.
Customer Service at the Front Desk got us upset right at Check- In; and it only got worse from there. As my wife said: ‘This is definitely not a Hotel’. Because they wanted to charge for every conceivable thing! The Internet Service has the response time of dial-up modems from the 1990s... But I honestly would not stay here again. It’s ashamed great location WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ESPECIALLY FOR CHARGING US FOR EVERYTHING. TOWELS & KEYS & TOILET TISSUE AND CLEANING OUR OWN ROOM TOO. EVERYTHING THAT NORMAL HOTELS NEVER EVER DOES.
Arrived at 2pm and our room was not available until 3pm. No Airconditioning in the building. Told to leave doors and windows open. (Has no fly screens) Not very safe with small children. A young child could easily fit between the railings in the apartment. Furniture very outdated and falling apart. Fans rusted. Good view - but no balcony and hot and uncomfortable. Couldn’t wait to leave.
