The rooms pictured in the property details were not representative of my room. My room was very outdated and worse for wear. The baseboard was torn up. The carpet was stained and wallpaper was peeling. I was not comfortable at all in the musty room and I didn't shower while I was there because the bathroom was so dingy and unclean looking. They still use keys instead of key cards. I wondered how easily it is to make copies so security is very lacking I believe. I was very disappointed by the state of tge property after seeing what loojed lije s decent place online. The woman who checked me in walkedbaway from the desk as I pulled up. She put a sign up that she woukd be back soon but I had to call her to get checked in. She walked right by me without responding when I said hello. She never made eye contact and it was very clear she was annoyed that I called her to come back even though thst is what the sign said to do. I waited at least 5 minutes hoping she would return on her own which she did not. Bottom line. I did not enjoy my stsy from the first contact with her and with the ickiness if my room. I can't recommend this motel. Don't be fooked by the pictures. Also, the walls are paper thin.

Wonderful little lodge to stay at. It's location is great for me as it's a halfway point for a commonly taken trip that I take. The price was remarkable, rooms were clean and neat. Loved the local pub located on the premises. I will be returning.

Our room was on the lake side and it was truly pretty, and the staff was kind and friendly; but the room was very dated, not especially clean, there were few amenities (ex: no iron), and a number of things in the room need to be replaced (ex: the door stop in the bathroom was sort of melted looking and the "melted" rubber left residue on the door handle).

Parking lot was terrible. Full of holes. Rough road. Bathroom was old. Dirty. The back of the bathroom door has dirty hand prints which I cleaned myself. Furniture was old and distressed. Handle missing on dresser. Bathroom vanity had mega stains. Major letdown from the pictures we viewed.

Skyline Lodge is o good place to stay in that there is a restaurant and bar located within the lodge. The food is very good and the bar staff was friendly. There are food and drink specials. There is entertainment on the weekends. The beds are comfy. On the negative side there is no ice machine. You can get ice if you ask the front desk. There are no luggage carts. There are no phones in the rooms. The rooms have tile floors instead of carpet. I had to crawl under the bed to find an outlet to charge my phone. The driveway and parking lot could stand done better repair. The overall appearance of the lodge could use a little sprucing up.The positives do outweigh the negatives and I would recommend a stay there.
