The house was very clean, the location was wonderful. We loved the little cowboy pool and fishing right of of the dock was fantastic; we caught several fish. The beds were comfortable with plenty of seating in the living area. The outdoor furniture was great!

We stayed here for Easter weekend and had a good time! The house is old and could use a facelift with a deep cleaning but it was very cute. The amenities (cowboy pool and foosball table in the game room) were nice and the kids loved it. We brought our dog who loved running around the fenced in yard and exploring the huge deck. I’d recommend bring fishing poles and renting some kayaks to fully enjoy everything this property has to offer too.
We also celebrated by daughters birthday there on Easter weekend. There is a restriction on how many people can be on property at any time day or night even if they aren’t staying (7 people) and no parties so just be aware of that before booking.

We had a very pleasant time during the week we were there in September. Very comfortable accommodations and the hosts were exceptional! They checked up on us to ensure we were having a pleasant stay and that was very much appreciated! Would definitely stay at a Beach Box property again!!!

Great place to stay for our guys trip to Galveston. Plenty of outdoor seating and deck space. Enjoyed the fishing and just sitting on deck relaxing with a cold drink. Beds were comfortable and everything was provided. Our group will definitely be back again for a longer stay.

Perfect stay in Jamaica beach

Spotless, well-equipped with everything needed for a cozy getaway. Near the beach & RV park, something for everyone. Our favorite part was the covered area below on the canal plus having small pool for staying cool! We WILL be back!

It was a great property! Little pool for the kids to play in, nice deck for us to talk hangout and fish, cool little game room and a fully fenced in yard so my dog could play and roam and I didn’t have to worry about him getting out. And we were right across the street from the beach where we parked in the sand and set up our spot just steps away. Everything was fantastic and we had a blast.

Cowboy soaking pool is cool, porch deck area is very nice for views, outside nice for fishing and grilling, spiral staircase was steep but very cool, WIFI and TV was nice for before bed, firepit and game room were a nice touch. outdoor shower nice for after beach

Crab Shack home is a great place to stay

I spent weekend at the Crab Shack home, and it was just as described. Home was clean, kitchen was well-stocked. Communication with the host was easy and she graciously answered any questions or concerns. The location was perfect. My teenagers enjoyed fishing off the back boat deck. We were blessed with great weather and able to enjoy the spacious deck (no mosquitos during our stay). I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay at Jamaica Beach. I will definitely book again.

There was no vent hood in the kitchen. There was trash under the couch from previous tenants. The couch was stained. The half spiral staircase half attic attack stairs to upstairs were unsafe. Especially descending. Railing on second floor porch was a hazard. Not stable - if some someone was really leaning on it it, it would give. No smoke detectors. Cabinet doors and in kitchen and bathroom wouldn’t stay closed because of shift of the house. We left one night early because the bottom bed frame was broken and the other two beds were too uncomfortable to sleep on. We had to wash all the plates, utensils and pots and pans before using. They were dirty. The photos on the listing were very deceiving.
