Booked this place on Orbitz at 9:30 at night, exhausted and just looking for a bed. Walked into the room and was immediately greeted by what can only be described as a dog diarrhea crime scene—a giant, dried stain dead center of the floor. Not hidden. Not subtle. Bold. Confident. Like it paid rent. Went down to the front desk to speak with Mari (with an “I”), hoping for the bare minimum of customer service. Instead, I was told they couldn’t switch rooms because “all the rooms are stained” and the floors were scheduled to be replaced in August. So… you KNOW they’re disgusting, but you’re still renting them out? Cool strategy. Then came the highlight of the evening: Mari informed us that we should never walk in the hotel without shoes on. Ma’am—if footwear is mandatory for survival, maybe the issue isn’t the guests. Maybe it’s the biohazard flooring. We immediately left (obviously), because sleeping next to mystery feces isn’t on our travel bucket list. The hotel refused to issue a refund, which says everything you need to know. Thankfully, Orbitz stepped up and refunded us, because apparently they have higher cleanliness standards than the actual hotel. If you enjoy: Filthy floors Zero accountability Being blamed for expecting cleanliness And staff who casually admit the entire place is stained …then congratulations, you’ve found your spot. Everyone else: RUN. And keep your shoes on. Apparently forever.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely unacceptable, especially as a family traveling with young children. Unsanitary Conditions: During our stay, we encountered roaches in our room on three separate occasions. This alone is alarming, but it was made worse by the fact that we reported the issue immediately to the front desk and provided photo evidence, including pictures of the roach and a visibly dirty sofa. Despite this, no effective action was taken. We specifically requested pest control treatment and a full room cleaning, yet we were repeatedly redirected, given vague responses, and ultimately nothing was done. Failure to Provide Housekeeping Service: We requested a full room cleaning more than 24 hours in advance and were assured it would be completed. To accommodate housekeeping, I intentionally kept my 4-year-old and 10-year-old children out of the room all day, sacrificing their rest and nap time. Despite multiple follow-ups and our cooperation, no one ever came to clean the room. This was incredibly frustrating and disrespectful of our time and family needs. Poor Front Desk Service: The front desk service throughout our stay was extremely disappointing. The staff member named Marry had a poor and dismissive attitude and offered no meaningful help at all. We were not able to switch rooms, were not provided cleaning service, and were repeatedly told the room would be cleaned when it never was. She lacks of accountability, professionalism, and was incredibly rude.

I would have given this 5 stars as everything was good and the staff so nice. But the big disappointment was the Light Cleaning on Request ie making bed, emptying bins and change of towels as mentioned on the leaflet given to us at the beginning of our 4 day. So I made the request, only to be told that as I was only staying 4 days there would be no Light Cleaning — but I could have fresh towels if requested. Bizarre. And even more bizarre when the towels were changed after Day 3 without further request. I do not recall this happening when I stayed here 2 years ago.

Our stay was okay overall. The studio room was very spacious, with three beds, sleeper sofa, and 2 bathrooms. Towels and bedding were clean with no stains, and the beds and mattresses were comfortable. The foyer was very nice and inviting, and the pool was clean. The fridge and microwave were clean and in great condition. There was a TV in every room and a guest laundry on premices. Unfortunately, some areas clearly need updating. The cabinet paint was chipping, the dishwasher was quite old and very loud, and the chairs looked worn out. One armchair was covered with a stretchy slipcover. There was no hairdryer provided at all. Breakfast options were very limited and ran out quickly since the hotel was fully booked. Looks like they didn't manage for proper amount of food in this case. One morning there were omelets but no bacon; the next morning there were two large bowls of crispy bacon but no eggs. There were no waffles or pancakes. The commercial toaster was out of order, and the smaller kitchen toasters did not work very well. Overall, it’s not a bad place to stay, but it really needs some upgrading.

Pros: strong shower; staff; breakfast, adequate kitchenware / Cons: with the sofa bed folded, the distance between bed and cushions made the cushions on sofa bed sink below sofa frame and they had to be supported with throw pillows underneath which made for a not so comfortable seat. There is no door between the bedroom and bathroom wash basin, so person using the sink bothers the person in bedroom. Hotel's on-line info stated a 10 minute walk to Veltri Tennis Center, when actually it is 30 minutes. Chose this hotel based on the 10 minute walking distance!
