Opportunistic and Dishonest Hotel Management

The building and surroundings are beautiful but they prioritise the income rather than customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this hotel after their opportunist and dishonest behaviour. They have even did not honor their own cancellation policy after their employee submitted in writing.

If I could give this place 100 stars, it would be completely accurate. The hotel and grounds itself are a work of art and could have its own guided tour that people would pay for. We took hundreds of photos all around. The heated pool, steam room, and jacuzzi were so nice to use throughout our trip, especially to start our mornings. Most importantly, the service was exactly what you would expect at a place like this. Everyone was so kind, respectful, and made sure we always had everything we needed even if it was just a small gesture like a cup of coffee while we waited in the lobby for our taxi. A special thank you to Marco, who made us feel like the most important people in the world from start to finish of our 4 night stay. LUXURIOUS in every way. Completely exceeded our already high expectations.

We had exceptional service at this stay! The building is jaw dropping and the staff will go above and beyond for you. Our room was so beautiful, I was very sad to go. Consider getting the imperial suite if you book. We loved the spa services and hung out every night by the pool to enjoy the amazing cocktails! Breakfast buffet has so many options, I would like to see more steak on the dinner menu, but I believe the menu was fixed for the duration of our stay. All in all I felt regal during my stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

We were disappointed to be charged $18 for coffee in the morning given the nightly rate and reputation. We visited the wellness area in the spa and were so offended that cell phones and loud talking was happening/permitted (?) from guests. This ruined our spa experience. The dining and concierge staff were wonderful but the establishment needs to review its priorities and policies.

Villa Cora is amazing. It was almost a shame to leave to go explore Florence! The shuttle service made it so easy to get into town and back. The room was beautiful, the garden was lovely and the pool area was immaculate. We loved the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. My wife and I can’t wait to recommend Villa Cora to anyone going to Florence
