We booked this hotel on Trip Advisor reviews for our first visit to Florence. We were not disappointed. The hotel staff were very accommodating, our room was first class and the hotel's location was ideal, just across the river from the busy city centre but within easy walking distance. As an added bonus there were several excellent restaurants very close by. We will probably visit Florence again and would be happy to stay at this hotel.

We had a problem with the first rooms AC but the hotel moved us to a room where the AC works better the next night other than that everybody was very helpful and the hotel was in a great location close enough to the town but quiet

It was fine. We booked quite late so probably got the last room available which was in the basement right next to the laundry room, so not great. But it was nice enough, quite spacious, good air-con, nice bathroom, good wifi, breakfast buffet outside on a terrace. The location is good (right on the river) but may not suit everyone, it's a good 5-10 minute walk to the main sights (5 to Uffizi, 10 to Duomo) but this does mean you miss out on a lot of the traffic noise and pedestrian bustle. The staff were very good as well.

Great hotel, lovely staff, good buffet style breakfast. We had a delux room & it was beautiful, 2nd floor at the back of the Hotel. Ate breakfast on the gerrace every morning, selection was good & topped up regularly. Lots of coffee options for coffee lovers. Great entrance courtyard which really 'felt' like Florence. A lot of Hotels were based in the centre but we chose this because it was across the river & closer to the Bardini & Boboli gardens so thought it would be more relaxed - we were right. The bridge by the Hotel looks immediately on to Ponton Veccio one way & out to the mountains the other - especially beautiful at night. Would highly recommend this Hotel to others & will be coming back again as e'd like to see more of Florence.

We stayed here for 4 quite nights. The room was big, the bathroom was large. We were happy with the more than generous breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Its on the quiet side of the Arno and if you have a car, they have reasonable parking. We came in early and there was no rooms available but we got in when one came up.

The hotel was located close enough to the city centre for convenience, but on a quiet street. Room was clean, service was excellent. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the food was good. There were restaurants only a few minutes away around the corner and down the block for eating at lunch or dinner.

We were very happy with the room. The hotel was lovely, very clean. The staff were fantastic. It was close to a bus stop, but also close enough to walk to the historic landmarks. Breakfast was always good.

A nice hotel near the bank of the river Arno, opposite from the historical center. The rooms are clean and surprisingly large. The service was overall excellent. The breakfasts were great. Also, the guy who makes the interesting streetsigns is around the corner.

The hotel offered my wife and I everything we had hoped for. The accomdations were great plus we felt the location was wonderful. We could walk to every part of Florence that we wanted to. The staff was also very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The handycapped equipped bathroom shower was somewhat Inconvenient for normal people as the water flows all over the place when you take a gentle shower, which cost us almost falling a few times. We just wish they were us more counter space to put some miscellaneous things such as toothbrush make up bags in the bathroom . Other than that, the whole hotel service, such as size of the rooms, breakfast, concierge etc. everything is perfecto! The front desk staff are all very fluent in English and are very alert at all times and were very willing to help in anyway they can! Even when we asked for something unrelated to the hotel such as printing out our online purchase of tickets, they went out of their way to help us out! Thank you hotel Silla and staff ! If we were able to go to Florence again, we certainly will stay at Hotel Silla! I also want to mention the convenient location the hotel Cilla is in so that we can get to all the major sites of Florence easily by foot, but by bus or vehicles!
