"Check in was poor, no information was given as to locations of anything. Unable to reserve for dinner as it was necessary to do so earlier when we were not even there, no QR code available- you had to go to the lobby to do it and there was no clear direction again. the following day we went at 10:30 AM to reserve as the buffet food was horrible! They said “sorry, nothing available for tonight you have to do it a day earlier”. Really? It’s a very large place that clearly cannot accommodate the number of people In the multiple buildings they have. Service was poor everywhere. They gave us a double bed by accident instead of a King— and found out that someone was looking for a double bed in our building while we were looking for a King. Hardly any protein was offered at the buffet. There was an omelette line for all— took forever. We did like the views, the walkways (when they were lit) the first night, they were not lit, and as a reminder there were animas like monkeys, deer and others that walked freely. it’s got a bit of a jungle feel which was cool. There’s a beautiful water in the lobby center, which you can take to get to the Xcaret Park entrance or conveniently walk! Beautiful colored building for a Venice feel. Small beach area was nice, but again very small for the number of guest they accommodate. Did not go to Spa as my trip was only 2 nights and 3 days. We did enjoy the venue but not so much the staff or the food or the cold room and floors on arrival. "

(too many margaritas!) this is why people keep coming back to this place. the service can't be beat! food was great, the rooms are great.....the gym is awesome. we will be coming back every year here "

"The staff is courteous from check in with a welcome to paradise drink through the checkout process. The resort is immaculately kept and the staff has pride in the facility. Speaking of the staff, they are welcoming and helpful at all times. The nightly activities are designed to be engaging and interactive for all, rain or shine! Cannot wait to visit again!"
