Great hotel, very clean room, the size of the room was great. The no-window was not an issue, there is a TV in place of a window with image of football pitch. Which you can switch off if you want. The lights can be operated from next to the bed, along with plug sockets and USB’s and a reading light. There is a large tv on the wall A desk and chair and a comfy chair. There is an iron and ironing board and a suitcase holder and a safe in the wardrobe where hanger are supplied. There is coffee and tea with some snacks. Lovely room with all necessities. The bathroom was clean and spacious with towels. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap is all Jo Malone. The staff were all happy and friendly The location was not near the main town so had to get a taxi. Was £7-£9 to the castle. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Just have to calculate the cost of taxis Thank you Tynecastle Park Hotel

The room was lovely - very clean and everything in a great condition. The screen with a live feed of stadium was a really unique feature! The staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to visit Edinburgh.

Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback about my recent stay. When I arrived, I noticed hair on the bed and let reception know. Housekeeping came earlier than expected, but they only changed the top sheet, and when I pulled it back there was still more hair underneath. I mentioned it again and ended up having to change the sheets myself. I know things can happen, but the room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped, and it did affect my stay. I’d really appreciate it if you could consider some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

The room was lovely although the carpet around the bed hadn't been hoovered. The glasses were dirty, it looked like someone had used them to keep their toothpaste and toothbrush in. However, the staff were amazing! Very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great too, although for clarity, the breakfast wasn't free as it says in your question. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
